2015 Resolution #4: I will NOT Wait for my weight!

“Ob-la-di ob-la-da life goes on
La-la how the life goes on”

Great lyrics and true words.

Life doesn’t stop because of some number on the scale, or the size on our pants.

Last summer, I was at the beach showing more long, flowing cover-up than skin.

There were women of all sizes and ages having a blast.

Some large women, some fit and slender, but all having a confidence and carry that I WISH I did!

So resolution: the scale does not stop me from living!

2015 Resolution #3: I will make a new recipe every week

It’s a small thing, but I get into cooking ruts.

The guys don’t mind, they will eat anything (laugh) but are very “comfort food” driven.

I used to cook different national foods all the time. I don’t know why I stopped, but I’m getting back into it.

2015 Resolution #1: I do not have an army to feed!

So I’m going to make a point not to cook enough to feed one.

There are 3 of us, not 30.

I need to make 4 servings (the hubbs takes his lunch to work, usually dinner from the night before).

I cook nearly every day. I love cooking, and I am a stay-at-home-whatever (wife, mother, person in charge, etc), so I have the time to cook what I like.

So, starting today Jan 2, 2015, I am no longer feeding an army! I’m feeding my small family.
